Review:
The Halloween show is one of the absolute 'must haves' for every collection. The show  is near perfection. Dylan is funny, charming, and powerful. The performance drips with the self confidence of a young man with the world at his feet. Every bit as captivating as '66 Manchester, and for my money; more enjoyable. This particular CD presents the show in the best quality ever. Tape hiss has been removed from the already incredible soundboard recording.
As a bonus, the famous WBAI FM radio show has been added as filler material. The package is very nice as well. Unlike some of the goofy covers this release has seen in the past, The front is the Daniel Kramer classic Dylan & Baez 'protest poster' photo in black and sepia tones. This is as good as it gets. This is most definitely a package that Sony should consider for official release.

An update is now needed on this release. As was our suggestion four years ago, Sony released this show officially on March 30, 2004. This bootleg, and all previous boots now become retro-active pirate recordings. It is not our policy to list pirate recordings, but as the boot existed before the official release, it cannot be a direct copy; and will therefore remain listed with bobsboots.com
