The cover photograph is from Mojo magazine's Unplugged review. The back cover inset is from the 30th Anniversary concert. Recorded on digital tape, this is a straight DDD transfer. Vocals are upfront and crystal clear. Performance is very good. The show is not quite as good on the filler material from the previous night, but again, it's from a digital recording, and sharp and clear sounding. Companion to "Bob's Full House". This March 30 show is a slightly better performance than the one from the following night. Indeed, it ranks among the best of the tour. The unsavory title of this release is perhaps due to John Jackson's faux paux of starting the wrong song at I Believe In You. |
