Review:
This is an odd gathering of fairly rare material spanning 3 decades. There's little rhyme or reason as to why each particular offering was chosen. (it worked for CBS on the official bootleg release). The common factor, for the most part, is rarities that (in many cases) have not been performed since. The quality is fair throughout. If one did not have the material on another release, this 3 CD package is a neat way of getting it all at one time. A couple of tracks were taken from vinyl boot releases, but the noise is minimal. The Denver tape has never been available in great quality. This is as good as it's ever sounded, but it's still rather muffled. A bad move on the part of the manufacturer is putting the entire tape on track one. It's over 40 minutes, and individual songs cannot be accessed other than with the fast forward button. Most recordings on this set are slightly below standard silver master quality.
