Power, greed and corruptible seed

It sounds as if the recording was made on a cheap tape recorder from far back in the audience. You can barely hear Bob. The music sounds fairly good. It's not real clear, but you can hear the music. The filler is worse. The only track that is of good quality is the pirated filler song called My Blue Eyed Jane from the Jimmy Rodgers tribute CD. The minor historical value here is the first live outing of Blind Willie McTell. This lamentable set was made in Germany by Montserrat records. The entire package aesthetics are simplistic. A black and white cover houses one CD that is simply silver with Blind boy grunt at the top. Disc two is more of a maroon color. Leave this one for the completeist. Don't even worry about obtaining a CDR. You're not missing a thing. © 2005 C Quigley / CD Pinkerton bobsboots.com |
