Review:
Exactly one year after Dylan kicked off the Gospel tour with a 14 date residency at the San Francisco Fox Warfield Theater, He opens there again for another two week engagement. For the first time in two years, Bob began to add a few of the standards back into the show. This is the third show, and it is a great performance and incredible quality. The vocals stand out, and the instruments are well blended. The recording is from close to the mains, and it comes through clean and clear. Thinman always trys for a nice package, but this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing ones as of late. As always, the fonts are clean and easy to read, and the photos are sweet. The front cover is a fantastic concert shot. The entire Dylan portion of the show is included, with only the opening Gospel numbers sung by the girls missing. The song layout is a tad strange, with an hour and 10 minutes on disc one, and a half hour on disc two, but all in all, it's one more proud release for this Label. They seem intent on releasing the entire Fox residency. That's fine with me.
