Review:
This is yet another great sounding mono soundboard recording of the 'True Confessions Tour'. The three CD set presents the bulk of the show. The filler material is non duplicated audience recordings from previous True Confessions shows. Backed up by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, the rocking numbers rock a little too hard, and a little too fast (as they tended to do on this tour). The slower numbers are by far the better songs because of this tendency to rush the faster ones. With a slightly nicer cover, this package would have been incredible. As it is, the aesthetics of the front are amateurish, off topic, and boring. The disc two and three fronts have a small number in the lower right corner to designate the disc. Other than this, all are identical. However, there is a very nice 3 panel foldout that compensates for the boring front cover.
