The origins and history of the acetate are unknown. 5 tracks were identical to the released versions. 'Can you please crawl out your window' and 'Desolation row' are earlier versions only discovered on this acetate. It came in a white, maroon, blue, or grey jacket with a black and white insert of a  1965 Daniel Kramer photo. The subtitle "I never talked to Bruce Springsteen" was an inside joke within the bootleg community. It started with a Patti Smith bootleg called "I never talked to Bob Dylan"  Blank labels. Unknown USA manufacturer. Probably 'East coast'.
