Hurricane (Outtake Record)
source: studio outtakes
Side one:

Hurricane

Side two:
Idiot wind

The recordings
Side A  is the original slower version of Hurricane.  It was recorded on July 30th 1975 during the session that produced "Desire". One of the reasons to scrap this version is reported to be a few words that could potentially libel Arthur Dexter Bradley. (although this is not reason enough to re-record the entire song.)

Side B  is the original recording of Idiot wind  recorded on September 12, 1974.  This version was released on early promotional copies of blood on the tracks. This particular recording does not have the jump that distorts previously booted versions.

Information:
This 1985 German title is relativly rare. It is a 12 " single, and actually plays at 45 rpm. A fairly cheesy one color (pink) folder type wraparound cover pictures the Carter photo from the official 45rpm release picture sleeve. This outtake record states the Label as being POD records, Jamaica.  The labels are blank.  There were only 150 numbered copies produced.  It's a very heavy, good quality German vinyl.
