his 1986 German release from Rock Records comes in a very thin full color printed yellow gatefold cover that is blank on the inside. There were a few variations in the package. One issue was printed ltd.- 200 and numbered on the cover. The vinyl came in various combinations and mixtures of transparent yellow, blue and/or green marble. Another issue included a stamped numbered paper label that was affixed to the front of the cover. The label touted 100 copies on multi-color vinyl. All vinyl was marble and ranged in color from light blue to dark maroon. A final issue carried a paper sticker claiming that there were 80 releases on black vinyl. Each was individually stamped/numbered as well. If this count were correct, it would mean a press of 1,140 discs. While this is entirely possible, it is a very odd number to ask a manufacturer to press. It is likely that the manufacturer contracted for 900 discs (to produce 300 packages) and black copies were mistakenly pressed and included for free in the order. Were that the case, the stated number of releases would be correct. Our information is derived solely from the information listed on the fronts of the various releases. As for the paper labels, Side A and B carried the company logo name and sick gramophone logo. Sides C through F were large 'woodblock print' style letters that correspond with the album side and fill the entire label.© 2008 CD Pinkerton - bobsboots.com
