Bob's 'Must Have' Silver Discs
We have been leery in the past
about
such a list as this. Taste, likes, and dislikes are such a
subjective
thing. With e-mails coming in every week asking for our guidance,
however,
we have decided to take the plunge. This list is VERY
exclusive. It takes into consideration the quality of the recording as
well as the quality of the performance. It considers the logistics of
presentation
of the material along with the package aesthetics. Also keep in mind
that,
in keeping with the mission of our site, it only concentrates on
commercial
releases. There are incredible recordings, and even other commercial CDs
that ought to be in your collection that didn't make this list for one
reason or another. In short, this represents the very best of the best.
All titles are not on the list, and it will be updated periodically.
Your
comments and suggestions are welcome for additions or deletions.
