Hit Too Hard source: analog audience Tracks: Disc one Maggie's Farm Man In The Long Black Coat Cold Irons Bound Simple Twist Of Fate Can't Wait Silvio (Bob Dylan & Robert Hunter) Cocaine Blues (trad.) (a) Tangled Up In Blue (a) Disc two Mr. Tambourine Man (a) Til I Fell In Love With You This Wheel's On Fire (Dylan / Danko) Highway 61 Revisited Like A Rolling Stone Don't Think Twice, It's All Right (a) Love Sick Rainy Day Women # 12 & 35 Review: Thinman keeps 'em commin' fast and furious. This one is a pretty good recording. It's very wide sounding with a fairly good music mix and vocals far out on top. The audience is a bit noisey at times, but not overbearing. The discs are full printed photos, like all Thinmans as of late, and each contain a little under an hour worth of music. The photos and aesthetics are very nice. I do like how they are choosing titles for their releases by taking lyrics from one of the concert songs (this one from Til I Fell In Love With You) that match a theme or photo in the set. Good stuff! This manufacturer has slipped into a groove at the very top of the midline manufacturers. They're not quite up there with the crystal cats and hollow horns... but they seem darn determined. © 2008 CD Pinkerton bobsboots.com |
