Review:
Just as there was confusion with the original album release, there is a bit of confusion behind this CD release. There were two different packages with two different names that contained the same disc. This release includes an inferior cover with poor aesthetics. There is simply a TMOQ sticker on the disc that covers the catalog number. Along with this release was one entitled A Week In The Life. It has a nicer full color cover.  So, it would be logical to assume that this limited release was due to a shortage of covers of the Week In The Life release. If this were the case however, why does the disc itself go by the title of:
"In 1966 There Was"? Either both packages were released by the same entity, or a trade was made between two wholesalers of discs without covers. Until we hear from the manufacturer, we can only speculate. The TMOQ sticker and the rubber stamp facsimile on the front cover are both used as a romantic throwback and nod to decades past. Neither of those original vinyl LP manufacturers are behind this CD release.

Info:
In 1970, a rare English album bootleg by this title was released to a few fans. It was the public's first taste of a recording of the Manchester show that they had seen four years earlier. Because of the mistaken paper label on the LP, this performance would forever be known as the Royal Albert Hall show. This CD release includes the entire album release in superior digitally reproduced quality, along with an additional six electric version songs from the tour. The front cover reproduces the rubber stamp that adorned the 1970 Album. This release also carries the TMOQ label. No direct connection has ever been established with the original English release and the USA manufacturer TMOQ.
