Bob is both animated and inspired. The vocals are up front and articulate. The band is tight. The choice of material and arrangements is fascinating. Bob is in a talkative mood. He thanks his audience, and makes mention of the battle of Great Britain. Highlights include an incredible 'Tangled..', an inspired and surprising 'If Dogs..' and fun filled rocking versions of 'Tombstone' and 'Leopard Skin..' The night was filled with acoustic, country influenced ballads, and powerhouse rockers. The package aesthetics are nice. Silk screened CDs are not Dylan related, but add a touch of charm. The front is an ITB pass for the show. Bob Links Concert Reviews © 2001 Craig Pinkerton Bobsboots.com |
