Review:
In preparation for the fall tour, Dylan performed a free show at The Edge. It is an odd set of material that leads some to speculate that this is Dylan's tribute to his friend Jerry Garcia. This audience recording is not as well mixed as what one would hope, but it is good; and the material alone makes it a must-have. The package is printed in only two colors to save money, but it is very well done, and creates an artistic aesthetic that belies that economic decision. Both discs are one color silk screened with the images on the covers. Highly recommended.

Show notes by Olof Björner
The first concert of the 1995 Fall Classics Tour features the 9th Never-Ending Tour Band: Bob Dylan (vocal & guitar), Bucky Baxter (pedal steel guitar & electric slide guitar), John Jackson (guitar), Tony Garnier (bass), Winston Watson (drums)
The show was billed as a private rehearsal party. Free tickets were given away by a local radio station on September 22nd. The show began at 9:25 PM and ended at 10:55 PM. The crowd size was estimated at close to 400, about ½ the venue capacity.
BobTalk: "I'm trying to bullshit him to go!" (after having tried to count Winston Watson in before West L.A. Fadeaway)
