Mr.
Tambourine Man vol.3 source: Manchester, 1966 Tracks: Tell Me Momma I Don't Believe You Baby Let Me Follow You Down Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat One Too Many Mornings Ballad Of A Thin Man Like A Rolling Stone Review: This 1993 CD release is a copy of "Bob Dylan Live". The full show was released officially by Sony in 1998 as "Live 1966". Therefore, this is an obsolete package. Even for completists, this particular package wouldn't be my choice. The sound quality is good, but the package aesthetics are lame. The title is generic. There is no historical and/or venue info. The cover photo is of the wrong venue (Isle Of Wight), and it is ruined by having been printed over for no reason. As a final slap in the face, the covers of the CDs in this series are a billboard type advertisement to try to sell the CD, rather than a heartfelt effort to release a collectible piece. Note by David: The spelling of Unauthorised on the front cover is not wrong, it's just the original English version of the word as opposed to the American spelling. Proper English, as practiced in the majority of the world, uses s instead z for all past-tense -ized words. It's another example of the divergence of the two interpretations of the English language over the years: colour/color; favour/favor and the final -re: theatre/theater. © 2001 Craig Pinkerton Bobsboots.com |
