The band is tight and well mixed. Vocals are strong and up front. The filler is great stuff as well. On the initial release of this CD, the sound quality of the filler material is relatively poor quality. This was soon corrected, however. The only thing that I find offensive is the cheaply done cover. Instead of Bob content, it takes the title and graphics from a 'Sex Pistols' LP. There are far too few cross-over fans of the two artists to appreciate the intended pun, and it leaves the Dylan fan with a feeling of deprivation. The only nicety is a repro Euro tour poster on the tray liner. © 2000 CD Pinkerton - bobsboots.com |
