The photos and aesthetics are exquisite. There were unique cardboard tour poster that were created for and sold at each individual show on this tour. The Crystal Cat covers for this year each depict a photo of the poster for the concert they represent. Highlights of the show are the new Love and Theft material, and haunting versions of Blind Willie McTell, and Man Of Constant Sorrow. There are a few flubs, and the show leans toward the electric, but all in all it's a good solid performance. There is some type of spinning mechanical noise problem toward the end of both discs. Crystal Cat usually avoids pitfalls such as this, but this particular problem also appears on Manchester 2002. © 2007 CD Pinkerton - bobsboots.com |
