This is one such example. The front and back covers are always unique with bold, crisp fonts and beautiful full color photographs. The inside usually includes covers from other Wonderland releases for advertisement. The discs are simple black and white silkscreens with the title and artist listed. As for the positives, this is a great looking package that includes the full show presented as a fairly good audience recording. As for the negatives, some don't like digi-paks. Some might complain that only half of the available recording space on disc two is utilized. It would have been better marketing to even out the number of songs per disc. Worst of all, however, is the unforgivable fact that this release is presented TAO (track at once). As this is virtually unheard of with silver releases, it might need an explanation that at the end of every song there is a gap before the next song starts. Most CDr traders won't even accept this on a CDr... much less from a silver! With that being said, this is a great performance with the Modern Times tracks being the highlights. © 2008 CD Pinkerton - bobsboots.com |
