Review:
To follow in their 'GBS' series, Scorpio released their own version of the recent White Bear release 'A Tree With Roots' in this incredible multi-fold out packaging. This is not a direct copy of the previous release. While the quality remains the same, there are a few differences in the track order. Compare the two. The packaging is simply astounding. The tri-fold album is full of breathtaking photos, and houses four cardboard inner sleeves. Each inner sleeve contains a CD, and lists the full track information on the back.

Tree:
Return
"Tree" is a term used by CD-r traders for the mass distribution of a particular CD-r.
It refers to both the act of distributing (verb) and the group involved in the action (noun)
The person who starts the tree is the seed.
The seed passes on the CD-r to the Limbs or Biggest Branches (some designate these as roots or trunk line)
These are folks who have agreed to make several copies, and pass them on to the Smaller Branches.
The Branches, in turn, distribute the CD-r to individual traders called Leaves.
To receive the CD-r, the Leaf sends a copy of a different CD-r to the Branch.
This way, everybody receives a copy, and the Branch's collection grows by the number of discs they are willing to copy.
The Mistake:
In the distribution of this title (Coincidentally called "A Tree With Roots") there was a lot of confusion as to the track order. The seed CD for this project was this October 2001 Scorpio release. This CD was originally thought to be an exact clone of the White Bear release from three months prior. The titles were distributed, and artwork created under this assumption. However, there are a few slight differences in the two versions. Use the comparison page to see the actual track list for each release.
