source: Working Demo Tape (Beta) Tracks: Walk Away* Last Night Congratulations Rattled Heading For The Light (Instrumental) End Of The Line Handle With Care Dirty World End Of The Line* Handle With Care* Review: Barely over half an hour's music, the lead track is not Wilburys, and the remainder is recorded directly from a 1990 vinyl boot release entitled 'Trembling Wilburys'. The covers from that LP were copied to be used here as well. The final two tracks are pirated from the official 12" singles. (And they are not as clean as the vinyl) What remains is stated to be demos. Indeed, the basic tracks sound as if they were performed on synthesizer. The music is so heavily compressed that parts are actually hard to listen to. (Think of the cheesiest synthesized sample you've ever heard on line) The vocals fare a little better, although still suffer somewhat from the compression. Petty on vocals except for Dylan on 'Congratulations' and 'Dirty World', and Harrison on 'Handle With Care'. All Wilburys sing their backing vocal parts. © 2001 Craig Pinkerton Bobsboots.com |
