The nicest thing about the package is the strikingly crisp and clear photo that was used for the front cover and throughout the set. It is reproduced on disc one, and then a cartoon version is found on disc two. It is so mezmerizing that TMR used it again for the single release of this series. Dylan was on an extensive European tour in April of 2007 hitting no fewer than 25 different cities on the spring tour. A unique point to mention about this set is that it is part of a Modern Times trilogy that documented the event. This series of three double discs that highlight the tour were sold seperately, but if a multiple purchase was made, the retailer was able to include a free single disc entitled Euro Modern Times. As for the performances, Girl Of The North Country and Visions Of Johanna are stunners, and the Modern Times tunes cook and sizzle. © 2008 CD Pinkerton - bobsboots.com |
