Information:
1990 saw the simultaneous release of this 2 LP set and a matching 2 CD set from the German Label Swingin' Pig. Both the CD and LP set contain the same program, and share the same artwork and photos. There were only 250 numbered copies pressed on beautiful clear and/or white based splatter vinyl. The show is from The Boston Garden, Boston, Massachussets, January 14, 1974 (afternoon show) This recording is directly from the soundboard. The tape has been in ciculation since the day of the show, and was released as a double LP by Berkeley entitled  Dylan & The Band Return .  The only problem has been that the tape was a little noisy. Swingin' Pig has addressed the problem by digital filtering with the NoNoise system. The recording sounds better than ever. Still not fantastic, but definitely worthy of this reissue. Unlike most incredible packages from this Label, this one is rather simple black and white with two vintage photos. The performance is an average one for this tour.
