Mail Fraud

People who use the US Post in schemes to defraud you are guilty of a serious crime. If, and only if you have used every reasonable attempt to collect from a mail transaction, you might want to choose to report them to the US Postal Service. This is a serious matter, and not to be used on a whim. If you feel that you have been defrauded, you may report the perpetrator by clicking the US Postal Inspection Service seal. Mail fraud includes any scheme to defraud you out of money or property, pyramiding schemes for the benefit of the perpetrator, and at the expense of those lower in the pyramid, etc. You can learn more here.

Hi bobsboots! 

Some weeks ago I posted Jim Filo as a bad trader. 
He didn't send my CDs and didn't reply to my mails, but was looking 
for new trades at the same time. I found that behavior very suspect. 
In the last days we swapped some mails, and today I received my CDs. 
Obviously it was only a problem of bad communication. 
I think it would be only fair to delete my bad-trader-post.

I recently wrote you about a bad trader, Jim Filo, aka Brockie aka Jack Jack

Well, maybe i did a mistake by judging him as a bad trader, after 4 months of waiting, i really don't know..........but now i think it's my obligation to inform you that the trade is finally closed. He did send me the discs at last and i think it's fair to credit him for that. I hope you will publish this, to give him a chance to clean his reputation.

I am not a member but I found your site just surfing today, and it will let
me get the frustration out that I have been bottling up since I tried to
trade with this person called Jack Jack.

I have built a nice collection from furthur.net and found this trader Jack
Jack and I sent him 18 CDs about a year ago.  He sent me several emails,
first he was moving and couldn't burn, then someone died and a funeral was
required, then he said he sent my CDs but they never came.  I don't know,
maybe he sent, but I feel like he didn't.  I told him I would send blanks
and he could try again, but since then I have heard nothing from him.  This
was the first time I have traded with someone I didn't know, now I am
frustrated and untrusting.  I haven't traded since.

Jack Jack has a web site called Katie and Tom
(http://www.angelfire.com/nv/KATIE/index.html) and I found it while
searching around Tom Waits stuff.  He is a Katie Holmes groupie perv and has
slaughtered Tom by pasting his photo on a background smorgasbord of Katie.

Daryan Lenz IS a bad trader. I sent him 6 tapes back in June and also
have been screwed. I've tried to contact him MANY MANY times. He finally
did respond to me about a month ago after I mailed him at another
address he posts from which is:

He said he'd mail my blanks back and offered to spin other shows for me
since the original trade didn't happen. I said fine. I haven't heard
from him since. I've given him the benefit of the doubt up to now. I

myself. Then I look further through rec.music.phish and happen accross
this thread! A whole LIST of people pissed off at him. It doesn't
surprise me.

He refuses to answers emails, and has also ripped off numerous other people on dylantree alone. 

Please warn others of this persons practice of enhancing his collection by stealing discs.

You can help the trading community by setting up a trade with him... making him send the discs first, then DO NOT send him anything in return. The discs he has stolen are now over 1,000!!!! PLEASE help to teach him a lesson if you are able.
